Kai Caddy • Web Publisher, Designer
In Spring 2006 Kai Caddy will be embarking on his eighth semester at The Echo, his seventh as sports editor. Caddy is also the design editor at The Echo and re-designed the paper for the Fall 2004 semester.

The 6-foot-7 Caddy has covered men’s basketball for The Echo since his freshman year (when the team won four games). He added football to his plate his sophomore year. Caddy also covered women’s soccer his freshman year.

Caddy graduated from Glen Rose High School (as an honor grad, no less) in 2002. He enrolled at the University of Central Arkansas that fall and has been a journalism major since enrolling.

Just six hours shy of finishing his journalism course work, Caddy finally chose to minor in art last summer. He has six studio art hours remaining and three hours of art history to go before completing his minor.

This summer Caddy will wrap up his BS degree requirements with eight hours of lab science. And finally he will walk across the stage at graduation in August.

When Caddy’s not working or going to class, he can usually be found asleep. On the rare occasion that he’s not asleep, at work or in class, he spends his time with his girlfriend, Shana.

Caddy is a life-long sports fan. He enjoys basketball the most and has been a Chicago Bulls fan since the glory days. After surviving the lean years he is excited that the Bulls have found a way to win again.

Caddy keeps his stuff at an apartment in Conway.
