Echo Sports mopped up at Friday’s Arkansas College Media Association Awards. The dynamic duo of Kai Caddy and Josh Goff pulled in nine awards for their efforts over the past year in the print version of The Echo.

Goff won four writing awards. He placed first and second in sports feature writing, second in sports column and third in sports story writing.

Caddy won the ACMA Designer of the Year award, second place in art illustration/photo and an honorable mention in art illustration/photo.

The duo teamed up to pull in two more awards for sports page layout. They won first and third place in that category.

The ACMAs pit all Arkansas college publications against each other. Each school is eligible to enter three items per category. The Echo garnered General Excellence honors for newspaper, while editor Sara Sawyer picked up the coveted Newspaper Editor of the Year award.
