Echo Sports online is the online version of The Echo sports section. The Echo is the University of Central Arkansas’ independent student newspaper.

Kai Caddy is the sports editor of The Echo and Josh Goff is the editor. Before landing the editor gig, Goff was co-sports editor for two and a half years. Caddy has been sports editor for three years.

Echo Sports online has been in existence since February 2004 in some form or fashion. It began with the 2004 Gulf South Conference Basketball Tournaments in Tupelo, Miss. The site was originally hosted by Tripod before Caddy and Goff decided to launch a newer web site with its own domain.

Thus the creation of getoffus.com. It was created in February 2005, so Caddy and Goff could once again sumplement The Echo’s coverage of the GSC basketball tournaments with live updates from the site.

Since then getoffus.com has covered spring football, summer football, football season and is now entering it’s first full basketball season.

This winter getoffus.com added blogs for each of its columnists. The blogs give writers the ability to update whenever they want from just about anywhere they want, making things a lot easier on the entire crew.
